Story
Granite from Domaine de l'Ecu is a white wine produced in the Loire region of France. This wine is made from Melon de Bourgogne grapes grown on stony soils with granite subsoil. The vineyards have an average age of 55 years and are managed by Fred and Claire Niger. The vinification involves soft pressing, spontaneous fermentation and aging on the fine lees in underground cement vats. This process gives the wine a notable minerality and complexity. The Granite has a straight, long and mineral taste, with a voluminous richness and a crystalline flavor. The finish is clean, sharp and very long, making it a wine of great character. This wine pairs perfectly with a platter of raw seafood, enhancing its freshness and mineral complexity.Producer
